We are proud to share that two members of the Leung Lab have been recognized with prestigious awards from the University of Utah’s Office of Undergraduate Research.
Dr. Daniel Leung (PI) was awarded the 2025 Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award from the University of Utah School of Medicine. This award honors faculty who demonstrate exceptional dedication to mentoring undergraduate students in research. Dr. Leung’s commitment to cultivating a supportive, rigorous, and engaging environment for undergraduate researchers continues to have a lasting impact on our students.
In addition, Sarah Dallas(undergraduate research assistant) was selected as the recipient of the Valadi N. Venkatesan Research Award. This award recognizes excellence in undergraduate research and is presented to students who have demonstrated curiosity, dedication, and impactful contributions to their research.
